Based in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex, Artifix specializes in maintaining and restoring historical artisan and craft machines and tools, along with maintaining and repairing modern day specialized artist tools. With over a decade of experience dealing with unique and specialized equipment, we work to maintain and revitalize the tools and crafts that artisans need to make wonderful things.

We are a mobile workshop that brings the tools and knowledge to you professionally and flexibly. With connections to expert machinists, fabricators, and top grade materials, we perform as a one-stop shop for the repairing and restoring of specialized artisan tools.

MISSION

We exist to revitalize and maintain the tools and skills of old for future generations. Our work focuses on supporting artists and craftspeople through keeping tools critical to their practice in proper order.

A mobile workshop

Heavy or fragile machines can be a burden to move for repairs, inviting new chances for damage to occur. We bring the equipment to you with our mobile shop. We are capable of doing rebuilds, maintenance, and most refurbishing needs with the mobile shop, but if the case arises that pieces need to be removed for machining, we have the equipment to properly remove and transport for peace of mind.
