Whether it has a hundred moving parts or just one, all tools need care and service to operate as they were intended. Artifix has the tools an experience to keep your hand tools, presses, looms, kilns, and other specialty equipment operating smoothly.

Sometimes you just need a part repaired, replaced, resurfaced, or remanufactured. Artifix works with experts to rehabilitate or reconstruct the necessary parts needed for bespoke, antique, or otherwise unique machines. From CAD file to installation, we have you covered.

Maybe it is a barn find, or it was rescued from languishing in the basement of a library. Artifix can help you breath new life into those workhorses of the past to fulfill a new purpose.
Maintenance and Repair Services
At Artifix we try to be as precise and transparent with the possible costs regarding the services we offer. Most jobs start with an on-site diagnostic visit to accurately determine required parts and consider labor; with a return visit to complete repairs. Other times, knowledgeable depictions of the problem or more simple jobs like sharpening, maintenance, or adjustments, can be completed in a single visit.
All visits incur a service charge of $170, this charge covers the technician's time traveling to the site, vehicle, tools, and consumables costs, along with one hour of labor. In the event that diagnostic work does not require the full hour of labor, the remainder will be credited to the repair visit.
Repair cost approximations are additional charges beyond the initial service call price.
